Dairy Industry Restructuring Amendment Bill

Government bill

About this bill

The purpose of this bill is to amend the Dairy Industry Restructuring Amendment Act 2001 to prevent the expiry of certain provisions within the Act, provide for periodic reviews of the state of competition and the need for regulation of dairy markets in the future, and remove an element of the regime that contributes least to the Act's efficiency and contestability objectives.
